WWTP Performance Evaluation Report

Wastewater Treatment Plant Performance Evaluation Report

We are currently reviewing the performance of our Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and would like your views.

Napier City Council holds a resource consent to discharge wastewater from the Awatoto WWTP to Hawke's Bay. The Biological Trickling Filters (BTF) are a key step in the wastewater treatment process. As part of the resource consent, we are required to carry out a performance evaluation of the BTFs and wider WWTP every three years. The most recent review has been completed, covering the period from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2024. Now we would like to hear your views on the report.
